About
My ideas and images come from art history, folklore and the world around me. I merge these things, aiming to make pictures that are curious and thought-provoking.
Relocating from London to Plymouth has had a big impact on my work. I live on the edge of Dartmoor, just outside the city. When I moved, I suddenly found myself living within the imagined world I was painting back in London - mysterious and bewitching. I responded, working directly from my surroundings. Now, the moorlands and coastline provide everything I need to create interesting artworks.
